Note on Namespaces
Namespaces are like directories or file folders. They are used to organize the wiki. We are borrowing our structure from Wikipedia and using a subset of their namespaces. To start with we have the following namespaces:
main - the main wiki content. The page you are on now is the table of contents for the “main” namespace.
file - used for uploading images and media: File Contents
user - individual pages for editors of the wiki: User Contents
cspace - each community or potential community can have a page here to present what it wants: Community Space
Each namespace also has a corresponding “talk” page so editors can talk about the contents of any page without being visible to general readers of the wiki. These are:
main talk
file talk
user talk
cspace talk
