The purpose of a community is to help each community member develop their gifts and discover their true nature, and to act as stewards for specific parts of the natural world.

Each community is responsible for cherishing, nurturing, and protecting itself, its members, and the parts of the natural world they have adopted. This will require partnerships between urban, suburban and rural communities.

The current global Solar Calendar is great for keeping track of solar seasons and agriculture. Other than occasional holidays the structure is designed to support producing as much as you can, resting a day or two, and then producing again.

Lunar calendars are typically more concerned about enriching the lives of those who use them. About building meaning, relationship, and depth by connecting to regular repeating natural cycles.
